The War

Last week in Social Studies we finished the Revolutionary War. The whole class enjoyed learning about it. And the Revolutionary War was Texas vs. Mexicans for Texas freedom.

Snow

White falling powder
Surrounding me all around
Frigid cold holding me
In a winter wonderland spell.

Frost dotting my nose and lashes
Covering the ground like a blanket,
Pillowy softness building up
Making not a sound.
